Australian Researchers Waste Money Deciding Fat Kids Get Diabetes

Australian researchers posted results from a 20-year study about obesity in this month’s International Journal of Obesity (which sounded like a magazine I wanted until I realized it didn’t offer any Carl’s Jr coupons and was actually discouraging obesity). They found – shocker – that waist size during the ages of 7-15 years old had an impact on health 20 years down the line.
