Australian Fathers Work Harder, Feel Bad
A study by Australian Institute of Family Studies showed that Australian fathers are “toiling longer,” which if my Australian-to-English dictionary is accurate, either means working or masturbating.
The trade-off is that they feel bad for being away from the home so much.
The AIFS is evidently doing these studies constantly, as just back in March, we reported on another study with more or less the same results. Fathers work hard, want to help out with the childcare more, and are afraid of jeopardizing their careers if they do.
