If you’re into country music, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting Kristin Chenoweth’s song “Fathers and Daughters“.
If you’re not into country music or swinging dead cats, and hey, not all of us are – then maybe you’re not familiar with the song. Chenoweth talked to Aol country music site The Boot about the lyrics to her “Fathers and Daughters” hit. Though the song wasn’t actually written by Chenoweth (songwriter Jodi Marr penned it), she feels like it was written about her life.
“My dad has been a great example of what a father is and what a husband should be,” Chenoweth told The Boot staff. It’s a short little blurb of an interview – so if you haven’t heard the song, just click the link above and check it out. Whether you’re a country fan or not, there’s some good father-daughter sentiment…much better than dads being blasted for not being able to do their daughters’ hair.
