This video caught my eye. No, not because I read World Star Hip Hopwhich I totally do – and not because I care about the Cowboys – this one’s totally not true – but the title of this video made me go “HMMM”. (see related)

Shame: Dad Teaches His Son How To Play With Flammable Liquids & Fire To Burn A Tony Romo Jersey!

This is a great title, first off. It’s the “Sho’nuff mouse click” in the daddy-blogger world. It’s one of those instant, “Oh I have to see this and validate how awesome I am compared to this crazy b*tch”.

Prepare your parking stub for the jump.

Okay, here’s what we got:

  1. We have Cowboy fans – I’m positive they’re in Texas.
  2. We have 1 ripped dad.
  3. We have 1 Romo jersey.
  4. We have 1 young kid.
  5. We have 1 older brother operating camera.
  6. We have gasoline and matches.

Ok hit it.

I should say I’m not surprised… but dude, prompting your son, on cue mind you – who looks/acts/sounds less than 8 years old – to administer gasoline, then throw matches onto the fuel even with parental supervision? Not cool bruh.

Yes, Romo does blow this year, and I enjoy fire as much as the next red-blooded American who likes a good BBQ, but this is totally embarrassing to us American fathers. I’m throwing my flag and calling this guy out for unsportsmanlike conduct. I don’t want to say it’s “wrong” because of freedom liberty f*ck yeah America bs, but flaunting an opinion with fire in front of your children because you’ve “had it” with a sports figure who makes WAY more money than you do? Who’s the loser again?
