One hard-working dad is going to win two tickets to Superbowl XLVI courtesy of the National Center for Fathering.

Here’s the scoop – contestants must show three characteristics of being a great father: loving, coaching, and modeling. To enter, a father must make a 60-second video explaining how he is a championship father, why his child is the ultimate football fanatic, and why the two deserve to go to Super Bowl XLVI. The dad must post the video to YouTube, because the public will be voting for the top three. On January 21, a panel of judges will choose the winner.

You’ve got until January 15, 2012 to enter, so I suggest you hustle your ass if you plan on entering.

For twenty years, the Kansas City, Missouri-based National Center for Fathering has been working to raise awareness of fathering.

(The press release also mentions that “the contest was made possible by sponsor Philip Tirone of” but doesn’t explain why.)

Check out the National Center for Fathering Facebook Fan page for more info on entering.
