This week’s Podcast Question of the Week is about triumph:

What finish line has your dad carried you across?

Recently, Bryan posted a story about Jim Redmond, father of Olympic runner Derek Redmond. If you haven’t checked that post out, now’s the time. We’ll wait.

So, Derek literally ran into trouble, and his dad Jim carried him across the finish line. At the end of the article, Bryan asked for you to share any stories of triumph. Well, now we’re asking for reals. Did your dad ever see you struggling and figuratively “carry you” across whatever finish line you needed to cross? Did he help you late one night finish a science project that ended up winning an award? Did he become an emotional support that got you through a tough time? Did he make you look really good in front of your date, who ended up someday being your wife? Did he literally, like Jim Redmond, carry you across a finish line?

This is a tough one – you’ve got to think literally and figuratively. Did your dad ever carry you across one of life’s finish lines?

We want to know! Leave your answer in the comments here and we’ll read some of your answers on our podcast! Be sure to watch on Tuesday, 1/24.
