Two Thirds of Men in Zimbabwe Tricked in Matters of Paternity
More than two-thirds of Zimbabwean men who took court-ordered paternity tests in 2011 found that the child attributed to them wasn’t indeed theirs.
After Zimbabwe moved from their local currency to the U.S. Dollar, paternity tests became more popular – though with a hefty pricetag of $500, many Zimbabwe men might not ever know if the child they’re raising is really theirs. Of course, that also means that there are men who will never know that they’ve got a child being raised by another man.
