Argentina Gets Its First “Official” Gay Dads
A couple of Argentinian dudes just had a baby through a surrogate, but aside from being a gay couple with a baby, the big news is that the two men will both be registered on the birth certificate “with no distinction between the biological one and the other one.”
The Marriage Equality Act in Argentina ensures that no difference should be made between children of same and different sex couples, and according to a press release on Instinct, plenty of two-mother birth certificates have been penned already.
But this marks the first time that gay fathers have been officially recognized.
Congrats, guys! Welcome to the fatherhood club!
