Power of Dad ‘Fatherhood Recognition Awards’ Taking Nominees
You might think that we’re just recycling stories, but it’s that time again – for the Fatherhood Recognition Awards, presented by The Power of Dad.
We did, BTW, recycle last year’s graphic. Oh snap!
The third annual Fatherhood Recognition Awards are set for February 15, and will honor seven awesome fathers from the Great Lakes Bay Region…so if you’re one of those, or know one of those, this here post is for you.
Keynote speaker for this year will be Hall of Fame coach, Herb Deromedi, who we’ve been informed is the former Central Michigan Football Coach & Athletic Director, and winningest coach in MAC football history & college football. And the master of ceremonies this year will be Ron Stanley, who we all of course know is a former linebacker for the Michigan State Spartans, and a 2005 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steeler.
So, who’s eligible for a Fatherhood Recognition Award? According to the Power of Dad site,
All fathers (including single-parent fathers) with a positive history of support and engagement with their children are eligible to win this award. Any citizen may nominate one or more individuals who they feel are deserving of this recognition award. An individual may also nominate themselves. To see a complete list of criteria please download the application form. Applications can be submitted via email attachment or regular post.
Need to nominate someone? You can fill out the form here. You’ve got until December 15 to nominate!
